Quantum Quartz benchtop care
Here are a a few handy hints on how to keep your Quantum Quartz benchtop looking as good as the day it was installed.
For everyday cleaning, simply use water and a soft cloth. Occasionally you may need to give your Quantum Quartz bench top a deeper clean by using a consistent circular motion with a non acidic, non alcohol based natural cleaner or gel and a soft cloth or sponge.
It is important to thoroughly remove the cleaning agent with a damp sponge to avoid leaving film on your Quantum Quartz bench top surface.
Removing high colouring marks works best by wiping them as the occur. (For example a coffee cup ring stain left on the counter).
For items that have dried on the bench top, like chewing gum or glue, use a plastic utensil or putty knife to gently remove, and then clean the area live you normally would.
Your Quantum Quartz bench top should avoid contact with:-
- acids and abrasive cleaners
- oven and toilet cleaners
- and any other harsh chemicals
Although a Quantum Quartz top is heat resistant, it is best to always place hot pots and pans onto a cutting board or a protective mat.
Never place hot pots and pans directly on your bench top when removing form the stove or oven.
To avoid metal marks and damaging your knives, always use a cutting board and do not cut directly on the Quantum Quartz surface.
Avoid applying excessive weight and/or standing on your bench top. If you need to change a ceiling light or reach a high shelf or cupboard use a foot stool or ladder.
